The Journey
Carla is very excited to perform in this festival, featuring four 10-minute plays in celebration of Black History Month.
The Journey, is an evening of works that speak to the unique and diverse Black experience. The Journey will highlight four playwrights who are contributing creatively to the telling of Black stories, who write with urgency in light of the systemic silencing of Black voices. The playwrights include: Kevin R. Free, Kyra Sims, Diana Vaden, and Monique A. Robinson.
With an acting company of legends and newcomers: André De Shields, Mirirai Sithole, Brian D. Coats, John Clarence Stewart, Shelley Fort, Carla Woods, John Clarence Stewart, Zora Howard, Cyndii Johnson, and Warner Miller.
Join us for an intimate evening of storytelling directed by Zhailon Levingston. February 23rd at 7PM.
All attendees must be part of the Actors' Equity Association.
